This section of the site contains tools I've written myself or in a couple of cases adapted from others.
Note that there are lots more tools that didn't make the grade over in the 'stuff' section.

HTTP Status Analyser
The HTTP Status Analyser allows you to view the HTTP headers of a webpage, with information on the status code returned and what it means. This can be useful in troubleshooting error pages or redirects.
Search Result Preview Tool
The Search Result Preview Tool allows you to see how the title, description and URL of your page may appear in search engine results. This has proved quite handy when updating sites, as it gives more of an idea of real-world usability as opposed to working with a spreadsheet or text file.

If any of the tools here doesn't work properly, please let me know and I will be more than happy to look into and try to come up with a solution. Bear in mind I don't have the time to spend on this site that I do with commercial projects!
